About Marine National Park
The Marine National Park protects coral reefs, mangroves and 42 islands in the Gulf of Kutch, off the coast near Jamnagar. Declared in 1982, it was India's first marine national park. At low tide, you can walk on the exposed reef at Narara, reached by road, usually with a local guide, to see corals, starfish, octopus, crabs and sea anemones.
