About Crocodile Breeding Centre
The Crocodile Breeding Centre at Sasan is a forest department farm where mugger, or marsh, crocodiles are bred and raised. Young crocodiles reared here have been released into Kamleshwar Dam and other waters in and around Gir. It gives you a close look at a reptile that also lives wild in Gir's rivers and lakes.
