Devalia Safari Park

The fenced Gir Interpretation Zone at Devalia, with short bus and open-jeep tours to see lions and deer.

About Devalia Safari Park

Devalia Safari Park, officially the Gir Interpretation Zone, is a fenced area of about 4 sq km inside the Gir sanctuary, 12 km west of Sasan. It was set up to ease crowding in the main park and holds a sample of Gir's forest and wildlife, including lions, spotted deer, sambar, nilgai and blackbuck. Tours run in forest department mini buses and open jeeps.
